Resize Image in CM, MM & Inches
Set the printed size of an image in centimetres, millimetres or inches and choose the DPI. The tool works out the pixels, resizes or crops to fit, and writes the DPI into the JPG or PNG so it prints at exactly that size. Includes presets for 3.5×4.5 cm passport photos, 2×2 in, 4×6 in and A4.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many pixels is 1 cm?
It depends on the DPI: at 300 DPI, 1 cm = 118 pixels; at 96 DPI it's 38 pixels. The tool shows the exact pixel size as you type.
How do I resize a photo to 3.5 × 4.5 cm?
Pick the 'Passport 3.5×4.5 cm' preset (413×531 px at 300 DPI), adjust the crop mode if needed, and download. Print at 100% scale.
What DPI should I use?
300 DPI for photo prints and documents, 150–200 DPI for large posters viewed from a distance, and 72–96 DPI only for screens.
Why does my print come out the wrong size?
Most images carry no DPI, so printers guess. This tool stores the DPI in the file. Also, remember to print at 100% / actual size rather than 'fit to page'.
